Iglesia  San Lucas  is considered the oldest church  in  South America . Founded by the Spanish. This hidden gem is off the Carretera Paita-Sullana in Northern Peru. Promoted as the first and oldest Catholic  Church  in  South America  is a beautifully preserved landmark.
