Ever wondered where the iconic Aussie rotary mower, Victa, originated Mervyn Victor Richardson took "borrowing your neighbours lawn mower" to a whole new level when he laid eyes on the petrol-driven rotary mower designed by neighbour Lawrence Hall, a Marine Engineer, in 1948. Visit the City of Canada Bay Museum and learn more.This is a social history museum containing over 1000 items including; clothing, household items, furniture, war memorabilia, office equipment, bric-a-brac, books, documents and photographs.Entry to the museum is free, but donations are always welcome.
