this is a beautiful and diversified walk along the Atlantic ocean...direction east you pass the beach the tree brothers and with low tide you can walk to canico prainha beach...then you have to go up the cliffs and continue your walk there as far as the next beach Vau (which is also a very nice walk to the next big beach of Rocha)...in between is Forrest Gump, one of the last wild places of this coast... to the west is a 30 min walk with just ocean and dunes...at the end you can go back or go right to see the lagoon and river side of Alvor...
