This small village of Jeolikot has a colonial past and hence, a number of cottages and cemeteries are found in hidden corners and pathways of the destination. One of the most famous cottages of Jeolikot is the House of Warwick Sahib, a retired major of the British army, who used to live in Jeolikot. Another bungalow, which belonged to a lady, who was the direct descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte, can also be found. She came to visit Jeolikot, who later fell in love here and stayed on
