A unique Victorian dockside building houses Craft in the Bay, the home of the Makers Guild in Wales. Showcasing and selling fine contemporary craft, the Gallery, in the centre of Cardiff Bay, includes a retail area, exhibition space, workshops, café and conference room. With an extensive calendar of activities the Makers Guild in Wales promotes the best of Welsh craft with a world-wide reputation for quality and creative innovation. Located on the "Flourish" at the south end of Lloyd George Avenue the Craft in the Bay Gallery consists of the refurbished "D" Shed, a grade II listed maritime warehouse together with a modern extension. The gallery is opposite the Wales Millennium Centre, where there's also a gallery showcasing members' work, and close to the iconic Welsh Assembly Building. Kemi's Café offers a relaxed environment to enjoy a quality eating experience. Housed next door to the gallery at Craft in the Bay overlooking the Wales Millennium Centre, Kemi's is open daily from 8.30 am until 4.30pm.
