This world class private collection of rare and local Butterflies, Moths and Beetles allows visitors a hands on experience to see and feel the wildlife of the Daintree Rainforest. This amazing beautifully displayed collection of Australian and Worldwide insects has been collected and bred, by one man, Stephen Paul Lamond. In his vision to share the unique World of insects with his family and friends he has established one of the worlds best private Butterfly and Beetle collections. His passion for the insect world has inspired him to create and build a remarkable Museum made from beautiful rainforest timberfrom his property. It has taken over 40 years to establish this world renowned display. He now exhibits his life's long work including his personal artwork, breeding houses,live insects, and new local discoveries in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest
