Daks

Maximilianstraße 16

About

This was the first branch of the traditional British store to open in Germany. The interior resembles an English gentleman's club, while the selection includes the obligatory checkered jackets, cords and waterproofs. Most pieces are made from materials such as wool, cashmere and tweed, but Daks isn't totally oblivious to fashion - they also have some contemporary pieces for younger people. Alexander Simpson's famous adjustable trousers, originally designed back in 1934, have pride of place, and are as popular as ever.
