The cottage is beautiful, quaint and very select as you can read yourself, from the “guestbook comments’ when you arrive. There is ample room in the cottage for everyone. There is a lovely big bedroom upstairs with its own bathroom and downstairs are two more bedrooms en-suite. The far lower bedroom is a laundry room, very much converted to a bedroom with a newly built wooden loft and ladder. Beds are made up nicely with plenty of towels supplied for each room. Two of the rooms have the option of being a twin or double room.Naturally there will be a starter pack of basic supplies in the house for guest arrival i.e. tea, coffee, milk, sugar, juice and breakfast cereals. Radio/cd players in all of the rooms as are t.v and DVD players. The gardens outside are well developed and maintained with garden furniture. Colourful flower boxes brighten up the windows nicely in the summer months. There is a lovely outdoor pond. Indoors there is, among some of the artefacts of Dan Rua’s time.The cottage is on the main roadside located near the village of Mountnugent, and Ballyjamesduff, Oldcastle. Virginia and Kilnaleck. Crover house Hotel and Golf Club is within walking distance, which has outstanding food and entertainment and breath-taking views over Lough Sheein. It has its own nine hole golf course alongside mature gardens. Crover and Mountnugent is a mere ten minutes walk from the cottage.
