World's Biggest Soulless Chain Bookstore: When I learned that this was just part of a Canadian bookstore chain, its lack of interesting titles and focus on new releases and bargain books made sense. With the space of a former bowling alley to work with, they could have made this a book lovers paradise with rare and hard to find books. If hard to find means not worth finding (out of date NHL sticker albums), they have it nailed. But what this store does is just expanded a basic bookstore over a city block. And the vast spaces of empty floor proves it.
