This is a great place to enjoy yourself culturally. Maybe outer look is not very appealing, but when it comes to Theatre, outlook is not the most important. Troop that performs in the theatre is not only extraordinary talented, but it makes you feel as if you take part in a play too. Theatre is open all year round, except one month in summer. Here come troops from all over Ukraine. But Kherson actors are famous all over the country, and they are often invited to perform not only in Ukraine but in other Post Soviet countries as well. The tickets for plays are exceptionally cheap - 10-100 grivnas (UAH) - 1.25 - 13 dollars. The only drawback for foreigners is that plays are in Russian, but I think if you want to feel the atmosphere of the theatre you won;t need to understand the words, acting itself will be more than just understandable.
