About

Forming a part of the historical town center area is the imposing structure, the Durban City Hall. This is the second city hall to be built, the first being overtaken by the Durban Post Office. The hall was designed by architect Stanley G. Hudson who was inspired by the City Hall in Belfast, Ireland so much so that he replicated it. In 1910, the city hall was completed and sported an 'Edwardian Neo-Baroque' influences. You simply cannot miss out on this attraction, when visiting the city.
