Durgadevi Temple, located in the vicinity of the Harnai Beach, is believed to have been constructed in the 18th century. Durga Devi is the presiding deity of this temple. The temple stands on a platform and has 28 wooden carved pillars. A huge pond behind the temple is often used for performing rituals. The entrance of the main shrine has a large bell that is believed to have been brought by Chimaji Appa, the Maratha warrior. The large bell originally belonged to a church and was shifted to the shrine after winning the War of Vasai.
