Eaux-Vives Park

About

Geneva is blessed with nature, mountains, beautiful parks and picturesque sights. Le parc des Eaux-Vives is an 8.5-hectare (21-acre) public park in Geneva. Like most parks in Geneva, this one used to be a domain belonging to several families throughout the centuries, and it was eventually bought by the Eaux-Vives commune of Geneva in the beginning of the century. The residence turned into a gastronomic restaurant and a five-star hotel in the 1960s. Great for a lazy summer afternoon, the park is located on the shores of Lake Geneva and is accessed by the quai Gustave-Ador and the plateau de Frontenex.
