Eglise St. Germain

rue des Granges

About

This church was constructed in the 13th century; the Eglise St. Germain church is one of Geneva's oldest. It was built on the site of a sanctuary in which fragments of an altar dating from the fifth century were found. Renovated after the fire that ravaged the Old Town in 1334, it was reconstructed in the 15th century, except for the steeple.
