It's really nice to linger around the Friedhof Sihfeld (Cemetery Sihfeld) on a sunny summer day, soaking up the calm and solemn atmosphere that reigns over this place. Many people come here to enjoy the spacious park, sometimes only for a stroll and sometimes to collect their thoughts in silence in front of the famous personalities' graves. Some of the people, who have found their resting place here includes the native poet of Zurich Gottfried Keller, the socialist August Bebel and the writer Walter Mehring. Also buried in the cemetery is the writer Johanna Spyri, the mother of Swiss icon Heidi.
