About

This small and rather specific museum is actually an annex of the downtown Nationalmuseet and charts the history of the Danish resistance movement during World War II, when the country was under German occupation, from the country's initial adaption to German rule to its liberation at the end of the war. The museum's exhibition is arranged chronologically from 1940-45, with texts in English as well as Danish, and entry is free. The museum is situated in the attractive Churchillparken, not far from Kastellet, and can easily be combined with a daytrip up to the Little Mermaid.Closed Mondays.
