Ganga Deri is a historical monument in Bhavnagar, standing tall in middle of the city as a silent witness through the history of Bhavnagar. It is built entirely of white marble and looks like a miniature Taj Mahal. An architectural delight built by the royals of Bhavnagar as a temple to Ganga, it was built as the centre piece of the then Gangajaliya talao. Though today, it stands on the banks of the lake which shrinked as it has been reclaimed for other uses, it still holds a beauty and identity of its own.
