Adare is a very beautiful and quaint village, which is made even more so due to the fact its main street is home to some old-fashioned antique shops. George Stacpoole has a very fine shop, with many items of local interest nestling amongst a plethora of antiques. There is an interesting 18th and 19th century collection on display. A selection spanning everything from knitwear and paintings to antiquarian and new books is also on sale here. Antiques and books are bought and sold and valuations can be undertaken on request.
