Giardino di Boboli (Boboli Gardens)

Piazza Pitti, 1

About

The Boboli Gardens, spreading over 53 square yards, are combined with the most unique nature and art. An amphitheater with sculptures scattered along each path, and fountains that mist the exhausted traveler lend the garden a bit of historical touch. Boboli Gardens are located in the backyard of the Palazzo Pitti. Up on the hill, among the roses, the Museo della Porcellana is open to the public.  Admire the gorgeous pieces of porcelain ceramics from the Medici collection. The Boboli Gardens are a great stop for a picnic lunch.  Pick up a panino on the way, find a grassy nowl to enjoy an afternoon admiring the scenery around you as you listen to Florence softly through the trees.
