About

Guan Di Temple, built in the late 17th century, is a small temple in Chinatown honoring a brave and loyal Chinese general who was deified by peasants after his death in 219 A.D. Tourists can enjoy lovely painted wood carvings and may burn incense here; as with many shrines of this type, any visitors who have smoke or perfume allergies should be wary, as the scent can be incredibly strong.
