The golf course is a full-length course measuring 6,563 yards from the men's competition tees, laid out over gently undulating parkland with wonderful views on the back nine over the downs.

The greens are of an exceptionally high standard and the whole course is extremely well drained and playable throughout the whole year (It has not been closed for rain for one day during the last 14 years).
