Heminger's calls itself "The Legend of Mackinac Island," but it is thriving in its desert location. The primary product is fudge, in fourteen different varieties. Choices include several types of chocolate and a couple of peanut butter variants, as well as such seasonal delights as Pumpkin Pie, Rum Raisin or Cranberry. All fudge is sliced to order, and free samples are offered. Pre-packed gift boxes are also available. On the Village Green, this is a great stop for families with kids, but adults with a sweet tooth won't go away disappointed.
