The atmosphere here is a bit like a 1970s village disco, although the decor is more eighties. Jackie O is a notorious disco for youngsters, frequented by school kids and youths from this part of town. Groping, getting smashed and non-stop partying is the order of the day. The dance floor is always full, and the young males sit in rows watching events unfold. The music is a good guide to the tastes of today's youth - hip hop, soul and chart music for the most part. Turkish pop is played on Saturdays.
