About

This small sushi restaurant is a renovated falafel kiosk on Tel Aviv's oldest street. While eating here, you can enjoy the outdoors and get a history lesson at the same time, as Japanika is surrounded by Tel Aviv's oldest houses (most of which have now been renovated, just like the restaurant itself). It also has the benefit of being close to several popular clubs and, since it's open 24 hours, you can stop here for a meal anytime. Be sure to try any dish with sweet potatos or their signature sushi sandwich with slices of "bread" made from pressed rice. - Tomi Clark
