About

A wealth of foliage and flowering greets visitors to the Jardin Catherine Laboure, a lovely park near Invalides. A beautiful arbor, decorative hedges, fruit trees, and scores of flowers occupy the gardens, open to the public for over 30 years. Since 1633, the plot had been a vegetable garden to the sisters of Filles de la Charité, and the intimate air fostered in this private space is retained to this day. A playground has been added for little ones, and workshops are sometimes held in the greenhouse and remaining kitchen garden area.
