Kødbyens Fiskebar
Flæsketorvet 100 Cuisines: SeafoodAbout
This trendy new restaurant specializing in fish and seafood dishes opened in 2009 in an old hall in the abandoned meat-packing district of Vesterbro, and has already become the talk of the towon - and even found itself the recipient of a Michelin guide 'bib gourmand' prize. Be warned, with this kind of buzz, the place can get busy, so you may have to wait a while for service - or find some dishes sold out. With fresh produce brought in from Denmark's coasts daily, the food is well over the quality of your average fish grill - but then portions aren't quite as ample, either. Try Danish oysters, blue mussels or lobster - or perhaps a plate of good old fish n'chips - all accompanied by a glass of good quality wine.![](https://irs2.4sqi.net/img/general/200x200/-y9W6QUC8dYrQWn7448vWg4Chi3LdCHEqtkE2dV4uRk.jpg)
