Killorglin Riverbank Lodges are superbly situated on the banks of the wild salmon River Laune in Killorglin on the Ring of Kerry. These architect designed, detached, stylish holiday homes have proven to be a very desirable holiday location given that all the amenities of the town are right on the doorstep and yet the location is so peaceful and quiet.Each lodge features three tastefully furnished spacious bedrooms: one ensuite with a King sized bed and balcony overlooking the river, one with a double bed and one with two single beds and a balcony overlooking the river. There are two bathrooms, a dining room, fully fitted kitchen and a living room with sliding double glass doors to a sun terrace which spans the entire front of the cottage. Lodge 1 is wheelchair accessible.There is a private slipway to the river for fishing, boating and canoeing. Each house has a boathouse, terrace and balcony with lush green lawn for children to safely play. There are so many activities available it is impossible to name them all. In Killorglin Town you can explore its colourful variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Cappanalea Outdoor Education and Adventure Sports Centre, 11km from Killorglin, offers the challenges of canoeing, climbing, wind-surfing, orienteering and field studies.
