About

Kinramer Cottage is an old farmhouse, on a working organic hill farm, adjacent to extensive coastal nature reserves. It is a comfortable base from which to enjoy walking and watching the island's wildlife. Being remotely situated, Kinramer offers a real chance to 'get away from it all' but, with a well equipped, self-catering kitchen, central heating and two washrooms, this 'bunkhouse' suits families, groups or sharing individuals at all times of the year. One bedroom (bunk and two single beds) is on the ground floor, the other (singles) is an airy loft above the small sitting room. A woodburning stove and additional space in the Creel House make for cosy winter gatherings. For stays of a week or longer, you may bring a car, by ferry permit from Moyle District Council. We provide bedding and towels; you just need to bring food and clothing suitable for rugged island rambling. The community co-op shop stocks a good selection of basics and our own fishing boat supplies the catch of lobster, crab and fish available at Rathlin Island Seafoods, by the harbour. *Please note the Cottage is currently booked from April- August 2013*
