Of the 80 pillars (Fa Hien, in 5th century AD, found the pillars shining as bright as glass) excavated at the site, only one remains unfortunately.The archaeological remains of the Mauryan period (322-185 BCE), has been discovered here, this include the ruins of a hypostyle 80-pillared hall.
