La Jolla Cove, 1100 Coast Blvd, [13]. A very popular beach for swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling, set against beautiful sea cliffs. The bluffs above the beach are grassy, making a great spot for picnics. Keep in mind that La Jolla Cove is part of the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve, so fishing, scavenging, or "swimming devices" (surfboards, boogie boards, inflatable mattresses, etc.) are not allowed.

"go to the cave store and go down the tunnel - a must do!"

"there use to be an entrance a few years back to the real "la jolla cave" inside a sea shell shop; they charged one dollar for you to use the steps to the bottom..i think the closed the steps today..."

"small beach... swimming with seals-) it smells bad... you can found better beach in san diego."
