About

The Children's Traffic Park was built in 1956 as the first of its kind in Finland. The police, the Tampere youth department and road traffic safety commission have participated in designing the park. Children aged between six and ten can use the equipment (e.g. small cars and other vehicles) and get traffic education free of charge. It is possible to take a test, too, in which these skills are measured. As a reward for participating in the test the children will get a Traffic Park Driving License. After getting the license, the children can go on and take a Traffic Park Police test. T
