The Lisbon Sports Club was founded in 1922, and had its origin in Lisbon Cricket Club, whose creation dates back to 1873.
As one of the oldest clubs in the country, was one of four founding partners of the Portuguese Golf Federation, and its affiliated 2.
The LSC was born within the British community installed in Lisbon at the beginning of the last century, keeping the characteristic features of a Club that is the owner of all your sporting and social facilities, which belongs to its members and is administered by them.
It is a family nature club essentially, that its members are dedicated mainly to the activity of golf, tennis and the practice of the use of the pool and restaurant, part of a single green area located about 20km from Lisbon and that remains free of property projects which are often the main reason for building golf courses in Portugal.
