Lough Muckno Water Ski Club has hosted national and international competitions, most notably the European Water-ski Championships. It caters for all members and non-members of all ages. They are based in Castleblayney, County Monaghan and was founded in the 1980’s. Coaching and equipment is supplied for all levels from beginners to competition standard. The clubhouse comprises all the changing and shower facilities one would expect, with a common room with AV equipment to chill out between skis. There is a corralled car park at the clubhouse, so you can drive up and ski/ride within minutes.Fronting onto the lake, from the clubhouse is a huge viewing deck where ones' friends and family can join in all the fun and the spectacular views of the lake, castle and skiers.
