Lowicka is a real gem in Warsaw's cultural life. They regularly hold some of the best concerts, finest exhibits and most interesting events in the city. For example, the great musician Soyka often plays here, even though he could fill a venue ten times the size. But that is exactly what makes Lowicka special. They have ongoing art exhibits as well (for example, they had the winning designs in the International Poster Competition). There is a bar that serves good light snacks, and which is popular in its own right. The center often hosts parties thrown by members of Poland's former nobility.
