Lumbini Gardens is a new attraction in Bangalore. It is located near Hebbal flyover and is on the Nagavara Lake. It has been developed with a grant of Rs 10 crore. Major attractions of the park include boat rides, wave pool and children's garden. Though Lumbini Garden is not huge, it gives you a chance to relax with yor family and friends over a weekend. There are two boat rides - a larger one, which takes you around the lake. Take this if you are a big group. There is also a speed boat ride for individual rides. A guide sits behind you while you zip away at speeds between 60 - 80 Kms an hour. This is a short ride but worth a try if you'd like some thrill.
