The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living is a showcase for sustainable homes and gardens, with the goal of promoting sustainable living. The unique facility is entirely self-sufficient. It generates its own power, recycles and reuses all rain and waste water, and manages all organic waste on site. The Centre is guaranteed to impress. The facility also boasts a large garden demonstrating different a wide array of sustainable gardening principles, proudly maintained by volunteers. At MCSL, they offer: venue hire, group tours and Devonshire tea, school programs and excursions - within schools or at the centre, the Little Explorers Playgroup - for ages up to five years and community programs - such as the Rotary of Narellan Men's Shed and the ME Farm - Multicultural Education Farming Program. A sanctuary in suburbia!
