Magarpatta is a satellite township of Pune, India. It was built over 400 acres in the erstwhile village of Hadapsar, on the outskirts of Pune. Magarpatta was conceived to have residential as well as corporate, mostly IT/ITES, community. Some of the major IT/ITES corporates based in Magarpatta are iNautix, BNY Mellon, Accenture, Amdocs, Avaya, Principal Financial Group, Capita, EDS, Mphasis, IGATE and Sybase. It also has offices of consulting firms like Dar Al-Handasah and outsourcing services firms like EXL and John Deere. An engineering center of Red Hat is also based here.
