It also goes by the name of Maharashtra Nature Park Society. The nature park is spread over 37 acres. It is home to a variety of flora and fauna.It is a hot spot for bird watchers from mid October to February. Regular nature trails as well as educational seminars and workshops are organized for the visitors. A guide will help you get acquainted with the park. The Maharashtra Nature Park Society provides a respite from the sweltering heat and pollution of Mumbai.Situated close to the Dharavi Bus Depot, this park is home to more than 200 species of trees, 80 species of birds, and about 40 varieties of butterflies. The Park also has an amphitheater and conducts educational programmes to spread awareness on environment protection. A visit around the park would introduce you to nature like you've never seen before, in the busy city of Mumbai. Although a beauty to explore, beware of snakes while you walk around the green pathways.
