ABOUT a century ago, and to be specific, July 1925, Captain W.A. Ross, laid the foundation stone of the imposing Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the... then capital city of the Western Region. mapo hall was was then used by then colonial masters after independence it was used as Ibadan city council. it also became a rallying point for all political rally.Mapo hall situated right in the centre of the city of Ibadan on a hill top called oke mapo.when on top of mapo u can see the entire city. it is a beautiful site to behold
