UGM Mosque is a mosque belonging to the campus of Gadjah Mada University campus which is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia.. Originally the mosque was called Masjid Sholahudin GMU. The mosque is located at UGM Mosque Complex, Jl. Sports, Bulaksumur, Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta 55281. GMU campus mosque was first built on the date of May 21, 1998 at the former Chinese cemetery. Construction of the mosque was done entirely by the students of Architecture to complete construction of UGM and spent $ 9.5 billion rupiah. Later the mosque was used for the first time on December 4, 1999.
