Nearby is the start of the Foxford Way, an 86km long route with the Ox Mountains on one side and the unique Nephin Mountain on the other, it is one of Mayo’s finest walks. For those interested in heritage there is the Foxford Woollen Mills Visitor Centre or the Michael Davitt Museum.
