A community project to celebrate the two famous bridges: •The Menai Suspension Bridge, built by Thomas Telford. •The Britannia Bridge, built by Robert Stephenson. •The rich marine environment and the outstanding natural beauty of the Menai Straits •The story of the people of this area through the last centuries. The Trust has two projects; The Canolfan Thomas Telford and the Princes Pier project. The Canolfan Thomas Telford houses the Bridges Exhibition, an active community centre and an Education centre. The second project is restoration of a historic warehouse called the Princes Pier, which is on the waterfront in Menai Bridge, overlooking the Menai Suspension Bridge - the building will house the Exhibition in a more permanent home.
