This curry house's acquired awards are the tie-breakers that have singled out this Indian restaurant from the rest. The front counter displays many of the food options and, although mouth-watering, it by no means exhausts what's on offer. Plain tables predominate, and the crockery could be something even your mother would be embarrassed of. However, that's not the point of Mirch Masala. Here, you can bring your own alcohol and thereby halve the bill. The food is a mix of balti dishes, Pakistani cuisine and tandoori dishes, but it's the lamb and tikka starters that really win the prizes. The service is not the most eager, but the food is good; and with your own wine, a night at Mirch can be both enjoyable and economical. They even now offer an abundant buffet on weekends.
