Monkey Shock 2nd

Tungmahamek Cuisines: Asian, Thai

About

Another must-stop on the Narathiwat munchies and beer trail, Monkey Shock 2nd also has a tempting menu. The converted house features quirky and comfortable furniture outside, with nice air-conditioned nooks inside. The mosaic tiled floors are noteworthy, as is the eclectic art collection. The detailed menu has Thai titles and English explanations. Two dishes worth trying with a beer are the Pla Nang Gai Tod (deep-fried chicken skin with spicy lemon grass and mint salad) and the crunchy Puu Ka Toi Tod Krob (crispy deep-fried baby crab legs). Beer is also available.
