This French brasserie pops up on every ultimate list, year in, year out. And with good reason its the best restaurant in Brisbane. While the menu is jampacked with flavoursome dishes, the twice-baked crab and Gruyire souffle is a particular highlight. Red leather banquettes and crisp, white-linen tables set the mood for a little slice of Paris. Montrachet also features a stunning winelist, backed by the fact owner, Thierry Galichet, travels to France each year to buy the Burgundies on offer.
