About

Mount Ainslie for sensational 360 degree scenic views across the city and surrounding country of the Australian Capital Territory. Mount Ainslie marks the northernmost point of a land axis, crowned with a rotating aircraft beacon, planned by Walter Burley Griffin. As you walk down the steps to the viewing deck you will find yourself front and centre to the Australian War Memorial in the foreground with the tree lined road of Anzac Parade leading up to the spectacular structure that is our nations Parliament House. The paved walkway is very well maintained with steps and leads the way from the back of the Australian War Memorial and displays plaques honouring the battles fought in World War 2. Take in Canberras individual layout from the highest surrounding vantage point to give you a birds eye view of our Nations Capital.
