Steeped in equestrian history, this truly unique spot is the very blueprint of an Irish country house. The Mount Juliet Equestrian Centre offers 16 miles of professionally-planned bridleways. Here riders can take the stunning views from the ideal vantage point of a saddle while passing through mature, unspoilt parkland. Their cross country course offers an excellent opportunity for experienced riders to hone their technique over well maintained rustic jumps. It also offers the chance for preparation prior to hunting season. With use of well-schooled horses from the yard, riders are guaranteed an exhilarating experience over the course. Show-jumps are also available which aim to cater for all levels from novice to advanced horse and rider, from schooling fences to competition courses. Training sessions can be made more interesting for rider and horse with bright new colourful jumps and courses. Equestrian master classes are on offer throughout the year covering many different aspects of horse-riding.As well as their international standard equestrian centre they offer accommodation ranging from the five-star Presidential Suite in the 18th century Mount Juliet House, the ultimate privacy and flexibility of a Rose Garden Lodge to the more informal four-star club rooms at the Hunters Yard. Mount Juliet also offers the very best in dining. Visitors can choose from the sumptuous surroundings of The Lady Helen dining room where guests will experience delicious cuisine prepared using herbs and vegetables from the estates own gardens. Alternatively, Kendals Restaurant situated in The Hunters Yard, serves contemporary Irish cuisine in a relaxed and convivial environment. Both restaurants offer stunning views over the countryside.
