About

Mullinderry House is a stunning farmhouse set against a beautiful rural backdrop near New Ross, County Wexford. This four-star detached house sits in a private site with a large lawn and play area for children. It includes four bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, and can sleep eight people. There are living, sitting and dining rooms, as well as a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. A cot is available. Mullinderry House is positioned in the agricultural heart of the county and has the vantage point of being central to towns, beaches, pubs and restaurants. It is a short drive from the quaint village of Foulksmills, where the old mill race and flowing streams set the scene for an idyllic look back in time at Ireland of old. The property is also within reach of the historic towns of Wexford and New Ross, the latter of which was the birthplace of John F. Kennedy’s ancestors. The old family homestead is still intact and can be visited to enjoy the story behind the great man. Nearby is the John F. Kennedy Arboretum, where one can walk and relax in a place where time has no relevance. In New Ross one can admire the craftsmanship that has gone into reproducing the replica Dunbrody famine ship, which brought people to America during the Great Famine of 1845. On board, visitors can view the living quarters and listen to role plays that portray the harrowing crossings people endured. Meanwhile, Wexford Town is home to a wonderful opera house and famous annual opera festival.
