Munambam Beach situated at the northern end of Cherai Beach, Muziris Golden Beach popularly known as Munambam Beach, is a perfect place to enjoy your weekend. This stunning beach is in the village of Munambam which is a fishing harbour located at a distance of 5kms from Cherai and 30kms from Kochi. It is the place where river periyar joins the Arabian Sea and one can enjoy the spectacular view of sunset, watch local fishermen in their traditional canoes, fishing and canoe rides. The beach filled with fine grained sand, is adorn with numerous Chinese fishing nets. It is one of the few places where one can see dolphins.
