Nanli Lake is a well-known scenic site in Hainan Province, which covers 46 square kilometers. Actually, it is a large man-made lake. The people of Ding'an built the Nanfu Reservoir here in 1958. As a consequence, the water gathered in the valley and became today's Nanli Lake. As for the mountains around the lake, they became the islands in the lake. Generally speaking, islands in the lake are not famous. However, the islands in Nanli Lake are so unique that worth of visiting.
